R2/RA2 high intensity prismatic grade
This grade includes both high intensity glass bead materials offering a medium to low light return (around 40%) and High Intensity Prismatic (HIP) materials which offer more light return. This class is used for the majority of UK permanent traffic signs, unless a higher performance is stipulated.
Avery Dennison® T-6500 HIP is a high quality, durable, micro prismatic reflective film with a pressure sensitive adhesive. Its unique micro prismatic construction provides a high level of reflectivity for demanding traffic control situations.
As with all Avery Dennison micro prismatic products, T-6500 HIP benefits from being omni-directional which means it performs with uniform visual reflectivity at all sign face orientations. This leads to less scrap during production as well as avoiding non-conforming signs from being produced.
